Steven’s directorial approach delivers authentic performances in a portfolio of spot work that ranges from straight comedy to emotional narrative.

Steven has worked extensively in advertising on projects for Nike out of W+K in Portland along with Art Director stints at Fallon N.Y, TBWA Chiat Day LA and NY and Kirshenbaum Bond NY. He began his career as a video installation artist, showing at galleries in New York, Mexico City, Vienna and Salzburg, after earning an M.F.A. at Kunst Akadamie in Vienna.

His work in advertising is informed by his background in video installation art and deep understanding of all aspects of the production and post-production process. Steven has directed commercials for brands such as Sirius, Ikea, VW, Miller and Cazadores Tequila.
